Arsenal are ready to let Szczesny leave the Emirates after a successful loan spell in Serie A.

According to British outlet The Sun,the 26-year-old has been at Roma ever since the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea.

The Polish keeper has played in all 19 of their Serie A matches this campaign, helping them to second in the table behind Juventus

The goalkeeper appeared 181 times in all competitions, including 132 in the Premier League between 2010 and 2015.

The Poland Star has been in fine form, conceding just twice in his last five matches as Roma close the gap on Juve in Serie A.

Arsenal are not short of options in goal.

Cech is their undisputed No.1 with David Ospina providing reliable backup in cup competitions.

The Gunners also have Emiliano Martinez available to him should he suffer an injury to one of his other shot-stoppers.
