The Gunners are interested in bringing both players to the Emirates in the summer
Jean-Michel Aulas admits Alexandre Lacazette or Corentin Tolisso could be sold this summer – unless Lyon win the Europa League.
Arsenal are interested in bringing both players to the Emirates at the end of the season as part of major overhaul of the squad in north London.
Striker Lacazette – who has scored 29 goals in 36 games this season – is at the top of their list having seen two bids knocked back for the 25-year-old last year.
But Tolisso is also a priority for Arsene Wenger, with the midfielder enjoying a stand-out year for the French club – netting 11 times in 38 appearances.
“I can assure you that if we win the Europa League they will not leave,” Aulas told Le Parisien. “They won’t want to leave.”
He then added: “But if they do have to go, there are worse things. That would mean that we’d have (financial) means greater than our needs.
“We finally have, after 15 years, the means for our ambitions.
“Third-place seems difficult, but there’s still a chance. At one point we were 100/1 to win the Europa League, now we’re 5/1.
“If we’re in Europe then it won’t be a failed season. We could be in European competition for the 21st time in a row.”
