EFE are reporting what could be one of the biggest transfer news. The Spanish news outlet, on Thursday, suggest Real Madrid star James Rodriguez could be plying his trade in the Serie A when the transfer window slams shut on August 31.
The above named source claim to have received a letter from real estate company Proto Group Limited, saying that James’ lawyers will be in Turin today to complete a deal on a property for their client.
Whilst Juventus were not named in the letter, the Turin outfit are said to be looking for central midfielders as well as an attacking one, having sold Paul Pogba to Manchester United for a world record fee earlier on in August.
London clubs Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with James, with the Colombian’s future under intense scrutiny having gone down the pecking order at Real. James is behind the likes of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Marco Asensio in the pecking order under Zinedine Zane and last weekend, the former Monaco attacker featured for the last minutes in the 3-0 defeat of Real Sociedad.
There were claims yesterday that Arsenal have asked goalkeeper David Ospina to convince James, who is his in-law to join him at the club, while Chelsea are reportedly still in the hunt.
It is left to be seen where James will finally end up, with under one week before the transfer window is slammed shut.
