Arsenal are said to have joined in on the race to sign Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian by the end of the season, when the summer transfer window opens up.

The 28-year-old is said to be currently running up on the third year in his contract with the Red Devils. However, the versatile full-back has only appeared in 81 games for United in all tournaments.

Having played on just 12 times this campaign, the 28-year-old will allegedly move on at the end of the season and Juventus are believed to be keen on the Italian.

According to Goal, the Gunners are also eyeing up a deal for Darmian as a possible replacement for Hector Bellerin, who could be moving on from the club by the end of the season.

Now, with reports claiming that Manchester United are also keen on a move for Bellerin, a swap deal comes to mind after the last swap deal in the Winter.
