Arsenal scout Luis Boa Morte saw transfer target Andre Silva score again on Sunday as Porto thumped Moreirense 3-0.
The Gunners have been watching Silva for the past two seasons and have been in the stands at the Dragao almost every other week since the start of the current campaign.
And Boa Morte – who leads Arsenal’s scouting network in Portugal nowadays – was amongst the crowd once again yesterday to monitor the 21-year-old.
It proved to be a worthwhile trip for the former Gunners winger who saw Silva net his 11th goal of the season in the comfortable victory.
The powerful attacker is having a fine campaign and clubs from across Europe are tracking his progress ahead of a possible transfer this summer.
Real Madrid are the favourites to land Silva, with reports in Spain claiming they would be willing to meet Porto’s £50m price tag.
The Spanish giants are currently under a transfer embargo – but will be able to do business once the current season comes to an end.
