Arsenal do some business
Arsene Wenger made it clear in his presser before the Premier League match against Watford that the Gunners weren’t going to do any major transfer business on deadline day.
But Arsenal have completed one piece of housekeeping, as 19-year-old Kaylen Hinds has agreed a new deal with the club before being farmed out of the Emirates Stadium.
Hinds has scored once in three appearances for Arsenal’s under-23s this season.
He has also represented England up to under-18 level, and was part of the Three Lions’ 2015 Under-17 World Cup squad.
So what the deal?
Having agreed new terms with the Gunners, Kaylen Hinds has joined League Two side Stevenage on loan for the rest of the season.
Also on deadline day, Stevenage signed Scunthorpe midfielder Jack King until June 2018 on a free transfer.
Stevenage are currently 14th in the fourth tier of English football, but they are only six points off the playoff zone.
