We might be witnessing a London derby as the transfer window draws to close – as Arsenal and Tottenham are set to do battle but this time, not on the football pitch.
The two Premier League sides are both keeping tabs on Blackpool’s hotly-tipped youngster Bright Osayi-Samuel as they had scouts at The Hives last night to watch the player, Express Sport understands.The 19-year old made his senior debut for Blackpool in March last year but has now featured 23 times for the Seasiders.
Osayi-Samuel has reportedly caught the eye of a host of top sides, despite Blackpool getting relegated to the League Two last season.
The above named newspaper claims both The Gunners and Spurs’ scouts were present for Blackpool’s 1-1 draw with Barnet last night, as well as officials from other Championship sides. The Nigerian-born player has also started all three League Two games for his side this term but, he was rested for their EFL Cup win over Bolton Wanderers.
Osayi-Samuel was bred in Spain but moved to England when he was 10. He then came through the youth system at Bloomfield Road. The winger has, however, decided to represent his birth country Nigeria whenever the chance to pay at international level avails itself.
