With Theo Walcott looking like he will be leaving Arsenal this summer after yet another poor season in Arsenal colors, one of the Arsenal youngsters Ainsley Maitland-Niles that is thought to be Walcott’s long term replace is set to leave the London club and rejoin Championship side Ipswich Town on a season-long loan.
Ainsley, 18, spent the whole of last season at Mick McCarthy’s tutored side Ipswich Town and had a brilliant start to life at Ipswich Town but was taken out of the squad after the the 18 years old’s mother phoned the manager and left an x-rated voicemail, complaining about her son’s playing time.
The relationship between Maitland-Niles and McCarthy is thought to be solid and the 18-year-old is being eyed up for a return to life in Suffolk according to the Sudbury Mercury.
The young talented Arsenal winger played a total of 32 games for the English Championship club last season, starting on 23 occasions and coming in as a substitute on nine occasions, scoring just two goals in total.
The wonder kid had the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Alex Iwobi, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott to contend with for a place in the wide position, the competitive loan move for Maitland-Niles makes more sense than playing in and amongst the Arsenal reserves.
