With links already to Morata, Lukaku, Lacazette, Draxler, Sibide and Subotic, from all indicaiton Arsenal will be very active this summer. However, not on only the incomings but as well as the outgoings. According to the Daily Star, Arsenal youngster Dan Crowley is set to join League one side Oxford United on a season long loan.
Crowley revealed last term that he was willing to move to a club in the lower league on loan this summer transfer after being informed by Wenger that he is not physically set for the English Premier League.
The midfielder is now ready for a stint at league one side Oxford United and he will be hoping the move will help his development.
“I’m glad to have the opportunity here,” Crowley talked about his excitement on joining Oxford on loan.
“It’s obviously a club that is going places and did really well last season so I’m looking forward to settling in, working hard in pre-season and being part of a successful side again this time around.”
Oxford manager Micheal Appleton is glad to have sealed Crowley’s services and the boss has also declared he would try to sign more youngsters from Arsenal. He also claim Arsenal would send more wonder kid for his club to take a look at with a view of the wonderkids spending the season at the League one club.
He told the Witney Gazette: “I’d like to think they’d be aware of what we’ve been doing over the last 16 months.
“Hopefully they are happy sending players to us as part of their development pathway of trying to break into their first team.
“There are a couple more players who will come and train with us at the back end of July, although there’s no guarantee they will stay with us.
“They will come for a week or so to have a look at us and we’ll have a look at them.”
