Arsenal outcast Mathieu Debuchy wants to make a move away from the Emirates before the transfer window slams shut on the 31st day of August.
This is as per Get French Football News, who report that Debuchy has attracted interests from clubs outside England, including Italian Serie A’s AS Roma and Turkish Super Liga side Galatasaray, but the experienced full-back wants to remain in the Premier League.
Debuchy – who still has three years left to run on his current contract at Arsenal – was farmed out on loan to Bordeaux in February and, the France international could have joined Roma but the Serie A giants moved on to sign other targets.
The former Newcastle United defender joined Arsenal in 2014 and has made 22 appearances for the Gunners since his arrival at the Emirates.
Debuchy has been capped 27 times by France, having made his bow in 2011, but the 31-year old was not named in the Euro 2016 squad due to a hamstring injury.
Spain speedster Hector Bellerin ousted Debuchy from the right-back position in the team and, the Frenchman has been on the peripheral ever since. His last appearance for Arsenal was in the Champions League game against Dinamo Zagreb, having come on as a late sub. He has yet to make any appearance for the Gunners so far this term.
