Whilst Real Madrid have reportedly told James Rodriguez he will not be allowed to leave the club, the Colombian continues to be linked with Arsenal and Chelsea.
It is still believed Real boss Zinedine Zidane wants James out of the Santiago Bernabeu and the Real number 10 is also on the wanted list of Juventus after he was, per reports, seen house hunting in Turin.
Although almost all believe Arsenal are unlikely to sign James, with the Gunners signing Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi anytime soon, but it is still interesting that James continues to be linked with Arsenal despite what Real reportedly told him.
Therefore, it will be something of a huge surprise to both Gunners fans and opposition supporters, should Arsenal sign James. The chances of Arsene Wenger’s side signing the Colombian are zilch!
The Gunners lock horns with Watford at 3pm today and they will be seeking to secure their first win of the campaign, having lost their first Premier League game and played out a goalless draw in their second game against Liverpool and Leicester respectively.
Mustafi and Perez are also expected to be Arsenal players before the end of the day and, their transfers will certainly bolster the Gunners squad.
