With Granit Xhaka already signed to sort Arsenal’s defensive midfield problem and with the likes of Ramsey, Wilshere, Ox, Cazorla and Elneny able to play in the box to box role, one would think Arsenal do not need any other central midfielders. However, the Gunners keep getting linked with the signing of N’Golo Kante. The France and Leicester City midfielder has attracted interest from Arsenal, Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain this summer
The battle to sign N’Golo Kante will reach fever pitch next week as Shanghai SIPG Coach Sven Goran Eriksson is ready to sign the Arsenal target by offering a £35 million bid for the midfielder who is expected to be dressed for Sunday’s Euro 2016 Final against Portugal on home soil.
Some unreliable reports claim the £35 million bid has been accepted by Leicester City and that the player will fly to China after the Euros to undergo a medical and will sign a 5 years contract with the Chinese but we believe these reports are way off the mark.
Other reports indicate that top clubs like Arsenal, Juventus, Real Madrid and PSG have all made asked about the availability of the 25 year-old midfielder.
Shanghai SIPG believes they can offer the kind of fee and wages that will lure the midfielder to the Chinese league.
Just months after winning the Premier league title with the Foxes, Leicester City is battling hard to keep hold of their star midfielder. But It’s likely the Foxes hierarchy will keep the player just lake they did when Arsenal activated the release clause of England international striker Jamie Vardy.
The French international striker arrived in the summer of last season in a £4.8m deal from French side Caen. His impact in the Premier League has been spectacular.
