If reports in the Press this afternoon is anything to go by, then Arsenal are winning the race to sign a striker finally. Having been rejected by Jamie Vardy, Wenger is said to have personally taken it upon himself to get a striker signed for Arsenal and has held discussions with the agents of many striker. And today, reports claim we have agreed personal terms with Romelu Lukaku ahead of a move to the Emirates.
The highly rated former Chelsea star recently revealed he will like to leave the Toffees for a club playing in the Champions League with he himself not having played in the UEFA Premier club competition before.
The agent of the 23-year-old striker Mino Raiola is said to be sorting the future of the player out. This much has been confirmed by the player himself who was quoted as saying; “It’s my agent who is dealing with that aspect.”
Everton has made it clear they will not sell the player for less than £65m ($84.5m) but it is believed that Mino Raiola who manages the affairs of now Manchester United’s player Mkhitaryan will convince Everton to accept a bid in the region of £40m ($52m). Raiola was able to get his client Mkhitaryan out of Dortmund despite the German refusing to sell and it is believed he will succeed in getting Lukaku out of Everton for cheaper than the owners of the club would want.
And with personal terms now said to have been agreed, it appears the super agent is sure he can have his way with the blue side of Mersyderside.
