Next season is looking set to be a make or break season for Arsenal as the club cant afford to go another season without a Premier league trophy. In an ideal world this is how most Arsenal fans would want to see the Arsenal side lined up next season.
Arguably our best goalkeeper in the side, Cech remains our number one shot stopper and is expected to continue as a regular for Arsenal next season. Cech had a slow start to life as an Arsenal player, making 2 mistakes in his Premier league debut which cost the Gunners the game.
The Spanish international had an amazing break out season that earned him a Spanish call up for the just concluded Euros. Bellerin capitalized on Debuchy’s injury to seal his place in the Arsenal first team and doesn’t look like he his conceding that spot anytime soon.
Laurent has improved as a center back with every game. He was in the heart of Arsenal’s defence last season and had an impressive outing with France at the just concluded Euros. Arsenal fans will be looking forward to seeing him start next season.
Ideally I would love to have had Gabriel partner with Koscielny but he has been inconsistent and probably needs more game time. But for our center back pairing I would go with Subotic as he would bring in experience as a solid center back.
I believe he is one of Arsenal’s unsung hero’s, he was pretty consistent all season and was as important going forward as he was defending. Don’t see any reason he shouldn’t be in the starting line up.
Francis has done a good job protecting the back four so much so Arsenal fans and pundits have stopped demanding for a defensive midfielder. And I believe he deserves a spot in the Arsenal midfield
The reason Arsenal weren’t title contenders at the end of last season was because this midfield maestro was out injured. There were games Arsenal dominated possession and were clueless in the final third of the pitch and would have benefitted if Carzola was playing.
He will be expected to start in central midfield after putting a superb performance for the Swiss in the Euro 2016. Although Wenger would want to ease him into the physicality of the Premier League
Need I say more? The Chilean international who recently won MVP in the just concluded Copa America owns a starting spot in Arsenal’s line up and he well deserves it.
The midfield maestro who had the highest number of assists in the league last season will have no problem starting for Arsenal and trying to link with our forward.
Not even any of the players linked with Arsenal at the moment would be able to start ahead of the big Frenchman. He would continue to spearhead Arsenal’s attack next season.
