Debuchy has had yet another injury- plagued campaign with Gunners and is recent resolutely second choice right –back behind the Spanish Hector Bellerin.
The French international has played just one game in Premier League this campaign, the 3-1 victory over Bournemouth, and was involuntary out after 15 minutes with a hamstring injury.
However, the defender is now fit again and is keen to earn some game time away from Arsenal with reports in France suggesting Marseille are keen to close his deal.
French outlet Le Parisien claims the Ligue 1 side want Debuchy on loan until the end of the campaign.
The newspaper says Marseille Chief Rudi Garcia rates the 31 year-old , having previously managed him at Lille where he won the Ligue 1 title in the 2010/11 campaign.
Garcia joined the club in October and is reportedly keen to add to his ranks in January as Marseille look to push for European qualification.
Debuchy had a similar short-term loan spell last January with Bordeaux but he was yet again struck with injuries which prevented him from getting a run of games.
The full –back has made just 23 appearances for the Gunners since joining from Newcastle in 2014 for around £12million.
