This is according to Sky Sports who understand negotiations between Everton and Brahimi’s club are almost at an advanced stage as boss Ronald Koeman’s looks to bring in another attacker before the transfer window is slammed shut. Nevertheless, the Toffees are finding it difficult to convince Brahimi to make the switch to Goodison Park, as the winger reportedly favours joining a club that competes in the Champions League.

Armed with blistering pace and impressive dribbling skills, Brahimi has bagged 20 goals and registered 22 assists for Porto in 86 appearances.
The 26-year old Algerian international has also scored seven goals for his country in 28 appearances, having represented France’s youth teams during the budding stages in his career.
