Arsenal have been reported to have rekindle their interest in Paris Saint-Germain star, Julian Draxler.

The 24-year-old, who has made Joachim Low’s squad for the World Cup in Russia this summer, was formerly favoured by Arsene Wenger but a transfer never materialised.

The Mirror have named Draxler among a list of five players Emery could potentially sign after Arsenal confirmed his appointment earlier today.

The Spaniard has beaten Mikel Arteta to get the job, despite the Spaniard appearing to be in pole position to take over.

Emery landed Draxler for the Ligue 1 giants back in January last year, with the player since blowing hot and cold in Ligue 1.

With rumours stating that Draxler could be reunited with his former manager.

The 24-year-old has found competing with the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria tough.

Draxler’s transfer fee could be a problem, however, with the PSG star likely to set Arsenal back £60million.

However, a deal could be struck if the Gunners raise funds by selling several players.
