Should Wenger bring in the much needed striker, a centre back and a maybe a wing forward to replace Walcott, Arsenal will have a good chance of winning the league next Seasons. But that’s if the core of the current Arsenal side is kept intact.
However, Chile Attacker Alexis Sanchez has been heavily linked with a move to Serie A champions Juventus, after the departure of Spanish striker Alvaro Morata to reigning European champions Real Madrid.
According to reports by both the BBC and Skysports, The Chilean is unsettled at the North London club, and could be set to switch to Serie A side Juventus. Report also indicate that Juventus are in constant touch with his representative.
Turin giant Juventus are ready to offer €30m plus ‘juicy bonuses’ worth €5m, according to latest report on Italian website Tuttosport.
The Gunners, however, would want to cash in heavily on Sanchez to finance other transfers, and have requested for €45m-€50m for the Chilean. It should be noted that Arsenal all this are claims, as I doubt if Arsenal has responded to their bid officially.
It’s been suggested across the media that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could replace the Chilean with French star Alexandre Lacazette, as Tuttosport believe Arsenal are in pole position to sign the French international striker.
Sanchez recently just won the Copa America with his nation Chile, and was crowned the best performer at the championship.
