The Germany manager instead picked Real Madrid’s Midfielder Toni Kroos for the FIFA player of the year award and he explained the reason.
“Toni has consistently been playing at a very high level this year, won the Champions League with Real Madrid and has performed incredibly well with the national team,” Low said.
“You can always rely on him and that was reason enough for me to vote for him.
“I voted for Kroos, Ozil and Manuel Neuer, in that order.”
To be sincere,Kroos has done well this.
The Germany midfielder has assisted 11 goals in 32 appearances during La Liga 2015/16 and saw the net once.
The 26 year-old has also one assist and scoring a penalty for German national team.
By low saying that being capable to rely on Kroos was sufficient reason to vote for him and that meaning he can rely on Arsenal star Ozil. The playmaker has been consistently brilliant ever since he was joined the German national team 2009
The only reason I can see is that Kroos plays for Real Madrid and Ozil plays for Arsenal.
