AC Milan’s M’Baye Niang isn’t a stranger to rumour linking him with an exit from the San Siro. In fact these have mentioned him in connection with Arsenal.
It was claimed West Ham had made contact with Milian about a potential deal for Niang last week but the Rossoneri response to the Premier League side was to inform them the forward wasn’t for sale.
Niang – who could find his place under further threat should Milan coach Vincenzo Montella manage to land a target or two – wouldn’t be that likely to leave the Rossoneri this month.
Apparently Arsenal would accept this as Mundo Deportivo – via the Express – has claimed the Gunners are more than happy to wait until the summer before they make a move for the 22 year old as they look to boost their attacking options.
Milan – if Arsenal or West Ham stepped up interest – wouldn’t be prepared to sanction a mid-season exit despite the fact Niang’s early season performances haven’t been replicated consistently.
The Rossoneri aren’t willing to take the chance that we could be left short of attacking options if he left so the official line being reported is he’s not for sale. Well, not this month anyway.
