” I’m Going To Arsenal Not Manchester City” £30m Defender Reveals

According to various reports, Arsenal are interested in signing Juventus full-back Alex Sandro.

The 26-year-old Brazilian still has three years left on his existing deal in Italy and will not come cheap, with a reported £30m seen as the minimum that Juve would consider before advancing negotiations further.

The S*n have said that Arsenal are targeting a new left-back as both Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs are not at the ‘required level to push Arsenal forward in the coming years’.
Schalke’s Sead Kolasinac is set to join in the summer once his contract expires and if this is true, it means that both current left-backs are likely to depart as Kolasinac (23) is considerably younger than both and could potentially be a mainstay for years to come as he continues to develop with experience in England’s top flight.

Sandro joined from Porto in 2015 for around £22m and did well to swiftly displace Patrice Evra as their first-choice on the left-side. Having played over 3,100 minutes of competitive football (all comps) this season, it’s clear that he is highly-regarded in Italy and they’ll be eager to retain him if possible.

Money talks and it’s no surprise that his performances have linked him with a move to the Premier League. Juventus though, are arguably in a better position when compared to both Manchester City and Arsenal – so why should he move to England, having only been in Italy for two seasons?
The Juve hierarchy are prepared to offer him improved terms but if he opts not to sign an extension, it’s likely that it could prompt a bidding war among those interested in him.

£30m+ is a high fee to pay, especially for a full-back meaning it’s unlikely that Arsene Wenger will be prepared to pay such a price, regardless of reports suggesting otherwise.£££
