The Poland international has been on loan at the Italian side since Petr Cech arrived at the club at the start of the 2015/16 season and has now played over 50 Serie A games for Roma and according to the 26-year-old they are keen to sign him.
Szczesny joined Arsenal a decade ago and has played over a century of league games for the Gunners but went to Italy when Arsene Wenger decided that Cech would be the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.
Szczesny told Corriere Dello Sport (via Sports Mole): “My future? I would also like to know where I will be. The truth is that it’s in the hands of Wenger, the coach and man in whose hands [my career has been] since I was 16.
“I’m happy and satisfied that two clubs are [interested] in my performances – one that wants to [keep me] and the other that wants me to come back.”
