Arsenal are interested in Benfica winger Andrija Zivkovic and have sent scouts to watch him in action, according to reports from Portugal.
Whilst Arsenal have been happy to invest money to bring in more attacking players this month, their squad does look a bit thin in terms of traditional wingers, and that’s exactly what Zivkovic is.
The Serbian international is comfortable playing on either wing and would add some much needed pace in wide areas.
After the summer sale of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and the January exit of Theo Walcott, Arsenal do lack options in terms of wingers and 21-year-old Zivkovic would certainly help fill the void.
Zivkovic joined Benfica on a free transfer in 2016 after his contract with Partizan had expired and it looks like he could be on the move again this summer, with Arsenal and Manchester United two of the sides being linked with a move for him.
