Arsenal has reportedly reached an agreement with Belgium and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku over a move to North London this summer, according to notorious journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
The Belgian forward has been heavily linked with a return to former club Chelsea for a fee believed to be around £65m this summer transfer window, though it is widely believed that Arsene Wenger and his charges who’ve hit a transfer breakthrough.
It is understood that Everton are asking for a fortune as the Italian journalist suggests they will reduce their hefty asking price should no one be willing to pay that huge sum of money.
Lukaku is thought to have reached an agreement with Arsenal on a personal level, while both English Premier League clubs attempt to agree a potentially huge deal.
The 23-year old has massive Premier League experience and has impressed in the league since his loan move to West Bromwich Albion from Chelsea which saw him score 17 goals in the 2012/13 season. He later joined Everton on loan before joining them permanently in a £30m switch from Chelsea. Lukaku’s has since scored an impressive 61 goals in 127 games in all competitions.
