Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain wants to leave the summer as the Gunners’ crisis deepens at the Emirates.
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are yet to agree new deals at the club and the former is believed to have told the club that he wants to leave.
Ozil, 28, has been offered a 280,000-a-week deal but the German is holding out for a bigger offer and the Gunners are unwilling to offer more.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 23, joined the club in 2011 and has taken on a more prominent role in Arsene Wenger’s side this season during a satisfactory campaign for the England international.
However, according to ESPN, the winger has decided that he wants to leave the club this summer – regardless of whether Wenger stays or not.
The Frenchman is yet to commit his future to the club and is out of contract at the end of the season.
A portion of Arsenal fans protested outside the Emirates before Tuesday’s game against Bayern Munich at Wenger and the board and there’s uncertainty if he’ll remain beyond the summer.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, though, could be one of the first out of the door and only has 15 months to run on his existing deal.
